The XLLink System utilizes an Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) or PDA as a Cockpit Display Unit (CDU) to turn every aircraft into a node on the network.

XLLink Model H uses the Iridium Satellite Network.  Iridium is the only truly global, truly mobile satellite voice and data solution with complete coverage of the Earth (including oceans, airways and Polar regions). Through a constellation of 66 low-earth orbiting (LEO) satellites, Iridium delivers essential communications services to and from even the most remote areas. Unlike other satellite orbital configurations, the Iridium Satellite Network has no significant transmission delays and provides complete global coverage for voice and data communications.
